About Kerry Fox

Bounce Back Canine Hydrotherapy was founded by a dog lover and owner Kerry Fox who has had an unwavering love of dogs all her life.

She grew up in a family who had Rottweilers which they bred and showed for a number of years. She has had many special canine companions throughout her life and currently has two dogs.

Her long-held desire has always been to better the lives of dogs with injury and illness. Through her business of Canine Hydrotherapy, she has been able to fulfill this by offering specialized treatments to dogs of all shapes, sizes, and breeds

How Food can Affect your Dog's Performance

During a dog’s recovery process, they need certain nutrients to boost recovery. A proper diet is important and something all dog owners should know.

While recovering, dogs tend to benefit from lighter meals in smaller rations. This means splitting their normal meals into smaller and more frequent rations. This hastens the digestion process and makes recovery more efficient. It is also advised to pay attention to their weight, to know when best to adjust their portions.

What should you Feed your Dog after Surgery?

Wet food is a perfect choice of diet for your recovering dog unless your veterinarian advises otherwise.
This is because wet foods are more palatable to eat and digest, which is of huge benefit to your dog if it finds it hard to eat.

Wet foods are a rich source of protein that boosts muscle repairs and fat that supplies energy during the recovery journey. An added benefit is that wet diets contain 70% of moisture content which keeps your dog hydrated.
